Vote for a man who believes in what you stand for, not for the 2nd choice because you think the 1st choice has no chance. The race isn’t over until it’s over. There is hope for America.

Please visit my blog for a perspective that you may not have considered. Mike Huckabee cannot win and saying he can is just one more way in which he is insuring John McCain’s success. I am Dixie’s husband.

Thank you for giving your perspective. Isn’t it great that in the United States of America we all have the freedom both to have an opinion and to voice it to others?

Yes. But what isn’t so great is that our votes can be split three ways only to end up with a true monster for a candidate. Honestly, if I thought that Mike Huckabee could beat John McCain, I would swallow my opposition and vote for Mike Huckabee. I honestly don’t understand why Huckabee voters won’t do the same.
“For the seven days ending January 27, 2007, John McCain led the GOP race with 26% support followed by Mitt Romney at 25% and Mike Huckabee at 17%.” – http://news.yahoo.com/s/rasmussen/20080129/pl_rasmussen/gopprimary2008012820080129;_ylt=AiX6.WBP3kzZJgrXx5HolEHvj9AF
National Tracking Poll for
Saturday, February 02, 2008
“Republican Presidential Nomination, it’s John McCain at 30%, Mitt Romney at 30%, and Mike Huckabee at 21%.”

We all believe passionately in our country and who we think can best lead it. Personally, I prefer to vote for the candidate I believe in, rather than the one I think can win. If Mike Huckabee is defeated, I will have no regrets, but I will have the satisfaction of knowing that I placed faith in a man of conviction and articulate principle. I am leaving the outcome in God’s hands. “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” (Psalm 75:6-7)
Thanks, Tin Man, for sparing with me in the interest of our great country.
The only way that makes any sense at all is if your vote truly won’t matter. Otherwise it would be wrong to knowingly throw an election towards people who will hurt this country. That is why Huckabee and his supporters will bear the responsibility of this mess in the making.
Valorie,
Sherilyn suggested we take a look at your blog. I couldn’t agree more with what you had to say. It’s the same position that Dr. Dobson had last fall when Sean Hannity asked him why he wouldn’t support Rudy if Rudy won the Republican nomination. It’s principles over politics.
